Day of Sorrow“Imperious, choleric, irascible, extreme in everything, with a dissolute imagination the like of which has never been seen….there you have me in a nutshell, and kill me again or take me as I am, for I shall not change.” I am a straight-forward person, sometimes brutally honest, to the detriment of my friend’s spirits, but I am what I am: I’m deep and I’m shallow; I’m cautious, yet enjoy risks…I know, I know…a damn cliche, but don’t cliches have truths in them; a start from somewhere? I have 5 children, they are the apple of my eye, and proof that there is virtue in this universe of dispair and apathy, products of cynical thoughts…but I digress… … the only time you ever have in which to learn anything or see anything or feel anything, or express any feeling or emotion, or respond to an event, or grow, or heal, is this moment, because this is the only moment any of us ever gets. You’re only here now; you’re only alive in this moment I enjoy reading, books by Asimov, Dostoyevsky, Burroughs, Burkowski, Kafka, Nietzsche, Hugo, Orwell, Tolkien, Adams, Franklin, Sartre, to name a few… writing, cooking…Anything involving imagination, I like. Now on the other side, there is dancing, billards, chess…
